- New Methodological Manual Released
The Beit-Hana Institute warmly congratulates its faculty members — Ph.D. in Pedagogy Teplytska A.O., Ph.D. in Pedagogy Bakulina N.V., and Master of Primary Education Kelerman D. — on the publication of their methodological manual: "Scientific and Methodological Foundations for Developing Cultural Awareness and Self-Expression Competence in Third-Grade Students through the Study of Jewish Tradition in a Multilingual and Intercultural Environment" The manual addresses the scientific and methodological foundations for developing cultural awareness and self-expression competence in third-grade students through the study of Jewish tradition in a multilingual and intercultural environment. It presents content, approaches, and experimental materials developed within the framework of the "Jewish Rainbow" project and the "Codes of Jewish Culture for Children" series. The publication is intended for researchers, methodologists, teachers, students of pedagogical specialties, as well as representatives of educational and community organizations working in the context of multilingualism and interculturalism. The manual has been added to the Electronic Library of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, reflecting its high academic standard and relevance to the educational community. The methodological collection has also been published on the Institute's website in the Library section. - The Academic Community of Beit-Hana IHGPI Actively Participates in International Conferences
Representatives of the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit-Hana” continue to actively participate in scientific and practical events, demonstrating professional engagement and commitment to the development of modern education. Faculty members of the Institute took part in international scientific and practical conferences dedicated to current issues in pedagogy, psychology, and the advancement of higher education. Fani Haisynskyi participated in the II International Scientific and Practical Conference and workshops entitled “The Pro-Civic Vector of University Education in Today’s Challenges,” held on April 23, 2026. Participation in this event provided an opportunity for professional dialogue, discussion of contemporary educational trends, and exchange of practical experience. Hana Yudovych took part in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Psychological, Pedagogical and Social Support of Childhood in the Context of the Modern Educational Paradigm,” held on October 30, 2025, at Donbas State Pedagogical University. Participation in such academic forums contributes to the professional growth of faculty members, expands academic cooperation, and promotes the implementation of relevant educational approaches within the educational process of the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit-Hana”.
- IX All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Modern Education: Methodology, Theory, Practice"
On May 27, 2026, the IX All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Modern Education: Methodology, Theory, Practice" was held at the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute "Beit-Hana." The conference was organized by IHPI "Beit-Hana" in collaboration with the Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University (Moldova), the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and the International Centre for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust (Poland), and the Anne Frank House (the Netherlands). The academic event brought together representatives of Ukrainian and international educational institutions, research organizations, faculty members, scholars, and students, serving as a platform for professional dialogue and the exchange of current scientific and pedagogical practices. Conference participants discussed the contemporary challenges facing education in Ukraine and worldwide, prospects for its development, digital transformation of the educational environment, the implementation of innovative approaches to teaching and learning, as well as psychological and pedagogical support for participants in the educational process amid crises and social change. During the plenary session and thematic section meetings, presentations were delivered on issues related to preschool, general secondary, vocational pre-higher, and higher education, psychology, modern teaching methodologies, and the role of artificial intelligence in the educational landscape. The conference once again affirmed the role of IHPI "Beit-Hana" as a modern scientific and educational centre, open to international cooperation, academic partnership, and the advancement of the education of the future.
- Vyshyvanka — The Code of a Nation and the Living Memory of Generations
On the occasion of International Vyshyvanka Day, the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute "Beit Chana" held a special thematic event dedicated to Ukrainian traditions, cultural heritage, and national identity. The celebration brought together students and faculty of the institute in a warm atmosphere of respect for Ukrainian culture and its centuries-old traditions. Participants shared stories of their family vyshyvankas, took part in an engaging quiz, created their own ornamental designs, and recited heartfelt poems that revealed the symbolism and deeper meaning of Ukrainian embroidery. The event was led by Iryna Fedorenko, a senior lecturer and methodologist of the Department of Humanities and Socio-Economic Studies, who emphasized the importance of preserving national traditions and passing cultural heritage on to the younger generation. The vyshyvanka is not merely a traditional garment — it is a living history, the memory and spiritual code of the Ukrainian people, uniting generations and safeguarding national identity.
- Participation of the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit-Chana” in the “Or Avner” School Directors Forum
From May 18 to 20, Dnipro hosted the Forum of Directors of Ukrainian educational institutions operating within the “Or Avner” network. The event was aimed at professional exchange of experience, exploring innovative approaches to preserving educational traditions and maintaining the quality of education, as well as shaping value-based guidelines in the face of contemporary challenges. The International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit-Hana” was represented by Rector, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Rima Aronova, and Olha Brotska-Liakhovetska, Coordinator of International Programs. As part of the forum program, participants visited leading educational institutions in Dnipro, including Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi Yitzchak Schneerson and the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit-Chana.” The Institute presented its original educational courses, “Ethnopsychology” and “Fairy Tale Calligraphy,” as well as non-formal education projects implemented in cooperation with international partner higher education institutions. These educational developments were proposed for potential integration into the educational process of institutions within the “Or Avner” network. The forum program also included discussions on ensuring the safety of educational institutions under current security challenges, defining relevant standards in upbringing and education, combining academic and spiritual education, and preserving students’ identity. The networking format enabled participants to exchange ideas, work through practical cases, and establish new avenues for professional cooperation. The forum became an effective platform for strategic development, strengthening cooperation among Jewish educational institutions, and shaping new approaches to the modernization of Jewish education in Ukraine.
- Beit-Chana Students Participated in Lag Ba Omer Celebration
On 5 May, students of the Beit-Chana International Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute took part in the Lag BaOmer celebration organized by the djc.com.ua – Jewish Community of Dnipro. The event brought participants together in a warm and friendly atmosphere, filled with Jewish traditions, joyful interaction, and a strong sense of community unity. For young people, such initiatives play an important role in value formation, preservation of Jewish identity, and the development of meaningful social connections beyond the academic environment.
- Beit-Chana International Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute Joined the German-Ukrainian Webinar on the Development of University Libraries
On May 8, representatives of the Beit-Chana International Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute joined a German-Ukrainian webinar organized within the framework of cooperation between the University Libraries Section of the Ukrainian Library Association and the Association of German University Libraries. The Institute was represented at the event by librarian Halyna Holishenko. During the webinar, Jochen Johanson, Director of the RWTH University Library (Aachen), presented the topic “Library Consortia in Germany and the DEAL Project.” Participants learned about the functioning of library consortia in Germany, interlibrary cooperation practices, and the experience of implementing the DEAL project to provide access to scientific resources.

The festival served as an effective platform for open dialogue with prospective students and their families, networking with educational partners, and exchanging innovative approaches in the field of education. Participation in Future Dnipro represents a strategic step for the Institute toward strengthening the city’s educational ecosystem and fostering a generation of leaders who think responsibly, systematically, and globally.
