From May 18 to 20, Dnipro hosted the Forum of Directors of Ukrainian educational institutions operating within the “Or Avner” network. The event was aimed at professional exchange of experience, exploring innovative approaches to preserving educational traditions and maintaining the quality of education, as well as shaping value-based guidelines in the face of contemporary challenges.
The International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit-Hana” was represented by Rector, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Rima Aronova, and Olha Brotska-Liakhovetska, Coordinator of International Programs.
As part of the forum program, participants visited leading educational institutions in Dnipro, including Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi Yitzchak Schneerson and the International Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute “Beit-Chana.”
The Institute presented its original educational courses, “Ethnopsychology” and “Fairy Tale Calligraphy,” as well as non-formal education projects implemented in cooperation with international partner higher education institutions. These educational developments were proposed for potential integration into the educational process of institutions within the “Or Avner” network.
The forum program also included discussions on ensuring the safety of educational institutions under current security challenges, defining relevant standards in upbringing and education, combining academic and spiritual education, and preserving students’ identity.
The networking format enabled participants to exchange ideas, work through practical cases, and establish new avenues for professional cooperation.
The forum became an effective platform for strategic development, strengthening cooperation among Jewish educational institutions, and shaping new approaches to the modernization of Jewish education in Ukraine.
